Chicken Jeera Rice
One-pot jeera rice with chicken. Everything cooks together — minimal cleanup.

Method
- 1 Heat oil in a small pressure cooker or thick pot. Add cumin — let it splutter
- 2 Add onion. Cook 3 min until golden
- 3 Add ginger garlic paste. Stir 1 min
- 4 Add chicken cubes, turmeric, salt. Cook 3 min on high stirring
- 5 Add washed rice. Stir to coat in the masala
- 6 Add water. Pressure cook 2 whistles or simmer covered 18 min until rice done
- 7 Garnish with coriander. Serve with buttermilk on the side
♨️ Reheating: Microwave with sprinkle of water 90 sec covered.
Note: The buttermilk is not optional — it aids digestion and adds protein. Make it fresh: 25g curd + 150ml cold water + jeera + salt.
